EVENING COURSES IN NORTH AND SOUTH LONDON,
AND DURHAM
Whatever age you are, it's never too late to discover your 'Inner Musician'.
Kodály musicianship courses are suitable for everyone.
Musicianship Courses will begin the week beginning 17 September, except where otherwise
indicated, and cost £180 per term.
(BKA registrations fee: £50 - non-returnable deposit).
Duration: usually run for 3 hours per evening (6.30 - 9.30 pm), for three terms.
FOUNDATION
For Complete Beginners, (even those who believe they are "Tone Deaf"):

ELEMENTARY
For those wanting to learn to read music and build on foundation
musicianship skills
for those already actively involved in music-making
for teachers responsible for Primary class music who want to build up
confidence and learn new repertoire and teaching techniques, and for those
wanting to learn to hear music in their head and begin composing very simple
music - also for anyone who feels their music skills are "rusty":

INTERMEDIATE
For students who have successfully completed Elementary Musicianship, for
those who have a good basic understanding of written music and the workings
of solfa and for those who want to go beyond the basic scales and modes and
into more complicated rhythms, keys, time signatures and harmonies:

ADVANCED
