Morning Courses

CORE MUSICIANSHIP

C1 Musicianship with Relative Solfa

C2 Vocal Warm-up and Choir

Musicianship training and Choral Singing (Choir) are central to the Kodály approach. All students are expected, therefore, to attend the above sessions.


Afternoon Courses

SESSION 1: SPRINGBOARD METHODOLGY

S1 Springboard: Module One Unit One: Background to Kodály*

S3 Springboard Module Three: Principles, Processes & Practices

SESSION 2: SPRINGBOARD METHODOLGY

S1 Springboard Module One Unit Two: Being a Good Practitioner*

S3 Springboard Module Three: Principles, Processes & Practices

*Springboard Module One Unit Two: Applied Concepts & Skills will be delivered at the BKA Kodály Spring Course

 

Evening activities

...will include Folk Dancing, an instrumental recital, a Vocal Workshop and the end of School Concert and Farewell Party.
